WELCOME!
I’m Kasalina Fa'avae, the author behind Fiery Vessels. I’m a mother, homeschool mum, entrepreneur, and writer with a heart for God, His Word, and encouraging others in their walk with Him.
My relationship with God continues to shape who I am and how I live. I am still learning, growing, and being refined along the way, and I write from that place - not as someone who has everything figured out, but as someone continually seeking to know God more.

Through Fiery Vessels, I hope to share what I am learning and encourage others to seek God, remain grounded in His Word, grow in faith, and faithfully continue their own journey with Him.

WHERE MY JOURNEY BEGAN
I was born into a Christian family, so faith was part of my life from a young age. However, it wasn’t until I personally experienced the love of Jesus and encountered Him for myself that my faith became personal. That encounter stirred a genuine desire within me to know Him more deeply and understand His Word for myself.

As I continued in my walk with God, I was discipled by godly leaders and learned the importance of becoming disciplined in His Word. What began as the faith I was raised around gradually became a faith I personally chose to pursue and live out.
​
WHAT SHAPED MY FAITH
My journey has been shaped not only by what I have learned, but also by what I have walked through. Life experiences, challenges, mistakes, failures, correction, and lessons learned along the way have all played a part in developing my character and strengthening my walk with God.
​
The wisdom and example of people God has placed in my life have also taught me the value of remaining humble, teachable, accountable, and willing to grow. Even through the moments when I have not always gotten things right, I have learned the importance of receiving grace, making changes, and continuing forward with greater wisdom and maturity.

WHAT GOD HAS TAUGHT ME
Through my journey, God has taught me that growth requires surrender, obedience, perseverance, and a willingness to be transformed. I have learned that knowing about God is different from truly walking with Him, and that spiritual growth is something that continues throughout every season of my life.
​
I am continually learning to seek His direction, depend on His wisdom, extend grace and forgiveness, steward what He has entrusted to me, and allow what He teaches me to influence the way I live and serve others.

SEASONS OF GROWTH
Every season has carried its own lessons. Some have stretched me, some have refined me, and others have opened new opportunities to grow, serve, and step into greater responsibility.
​
I do not see my journey as something that has been completed, but as an ongoing process of becoming more like Christ. As I continue forward, I desire to remain willing to learn, be corrected, grow in wisdom, and faithfully follow wherever God leads. Each season has taught me something different and reminded me that God is faithful through it all.
​
WHERE I AM NOW
Today, I am continuing to grow in my relationship with God while learning to faithfully walk out what He has placed before me. My journey has developed into a deeper desire to serve, write, encourage, disciple, build, and use what God has entrusted to me for His Kingdom and to bring Him Glory.
​
I am still learning, growing, and being refined. I do not have everything figured out, but I have become more intentional about seeking God’s direction, applying His Word, and stewarding the opportunities, gifts, and responsibilities He has given me.
​
Where I am now is not the end of my story. It is another part of the journey: continuing to grow in Christ, walking in purpose, and allowing God to shape how I live, serve, and move forward.​
MY FAITH JOURNEY
WHY I WRITE
Writing has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I often used writing as a way to express what I was feeling, process my experiences, and make sense of the questions I carried about life and the way people treated me. Even throughout my childhood and teenage years, I had a desire to write stories and books about faith. The passion was always there, but eventually, it was time to put that passion into action. As my relationship with God has grown, I have come to believe that writing is one of the gifts the Lord has placed within me. Along the way, others have also recognised and affirmed this gift, encouraging me to steward what God has entrusted to me rather than simply leaving it as a desire.
Today, my love for storytelling has a greater purpose. I believe God’s Word has the power to teach, encourage, correct, bring wisdom, heal, and transform lives. Scripture meets us in every season - whether we need direction, encouragement, conviction, understanding, or simply a reminder of who God is. Through writing, I desire to share biblical truth, tell meaningful stories, and point people towards Jesus, drawing from Scripture and what is cultivated through time spent with God in the secret place - a place of prayer, healing, growth, and transformation. My hope is that what you read does not simply remain words on a page, but encourages you to seek God for yourself, open His Word, spend time with Him in your own secret place, and put what He teaches you into action in your everyday life.
MY HEART FOR OTHERS
My heart is for people from all walks of life; the lost, the broken, the weary, those seeking God, those growing in their faith, those searching for hope, truth, purpose, or answers, and those simply wondering if there is more to life. Whether you have walked with Jesus for many years, are just beginning your faith journey, are returning to God, or do not know Him yet, you are welcome here. You may be walking through a difficult season, carrying questions, looking for encouragement, trying to understand God’s Word, or simply searching for somewhere to begin.

My hope is that what you find here will point you towards Jesus Christ and encourage you to take another step towards Him. You do not need to have everything figured out. Our walk with God is a journey of continually learning, growing, being refined, asking questions, and allowing Him to shape us along the way. As we journey together, my heart is that you would be encouraged not simply by what you read here, but to seek God for yourself, discover the truth of His Word for yourself, come to know Jesus personally, and grow in your own relationship with Him. Wherever you are today; seeking, hurting, questioning, rebuilding, growing, or simply looking for hope, there is a place for you here.
MY APPROACH TO GOD'S WORD
My approach to God’s Word is centred on the Good News of Jesus Christ and faith in what He accomplished for us through His death on the cross and resurrection. I believe Scripture is truth and the foundation for understanding who God is, His love for us, and how He calls us to live. At the centre is Jesus - His life, death, resurrection, grace, forgiveness, and the salvation we receive through faith in Him.
​
I approach Scripture with prayer, humility, and a teachable heart, recognising that I am still learning and growing myself. I do not want what I share to replace anyone’s own time with God or His Word, but rather to encourage people to open the Bible, seek Him for themselves, and grow in their own understanding of Scripture. Through what I share, I hope to encourage both those who already believe and those who may be searching, questioning, or discovering faith to explore the Bible, learn who Jesus is, seek God for themselves, and understand His truth. My desire is to share what I am learning from God’s Word in a way that builds biblical knowledge, strengthens faith, introduces others to the hope found in Jesus, encourages practical application, and ultimately brings glory to God.
